Before you file in Arizona
Choose your management structure, obtain the statutory agent’s consent and prepare the principal address and required members’ or managers’ addresses.
File the Articles of Organization
Open Arizona Business Center ↗
- Sign in to Arizona Business Center and start a domestic LLC filing. Enter the name and business details.
- Complete the management section and agent-acceptance step. If using paper forms, include the required management attachment and agent acceptance.
- Sign, choose standard or expedited processing and submit. Follow the approved filing’s publication instructions.

What to enter in the form
- Statutory agent
- This is Arizona’s term for a registered agent. The appointee must accept the job; entering a name alone is not enough.
- Management attachment
- For a member-managed LLC, list all members. For a manager-managed LLC, list all managers and each member owning at least 20% of the capital or profits. Use the attachment for the structure you selected.
- Principal address
- Enter the LLC’s principal business location. It may differ from the agent’s office.
- Duration
- Choose perpetual duration if the company has no planned end date. Enter an end date only if one is intended.
After approval in Arizona
- If the statutory-agent street address is in Maricopa or Pima County, the ACC publishes the notice. Elsewhere, arrange newspaper publication as directed in the approval letter.
- Keep the publication evidence with the approved articles.
Keep your LLC records current
ACC LLC forms and requirements ↗
- Ordinary Arizona LLCs do not file an ACC annual report.
- When the agent, addresses or management information changes, use the corresponding ACC change form. Continue to file required tax returns and renew business licenses.

Common mistakes
- Do not pay a private “annual report” invoice as though it were a required ACC LLC report.
